Applying

About Jane.

When you apply, you register with Jane. Here is what Jane is, what it asks for, and how it protects your information.

What Jane is

A secure medical records provider.

Jane is a medical records provider that is compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Clinics use it to register patients, send questionnaires and keep clinical records securely.

We use Jane so that your details and your questionnaire go straight into a secure clinical system. You do not fill in any forms on this website, and this website does not collect or store your application.

Your information

How Jane protects it.

Jane states that it is compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

For UK clinics, Jane stores data on servers in the UK, in London.

Your information is encrypted when it travels between your device and Jane, and when it is stored.

Jane is independently audited to the SOC 2 Type 2 security standard.

Registering

What to expect.

Jane asks for your name, email address, phone number and date of birth. You can also give a preferred name.

Once you have registered, your application waits for Dr Michael Yates to review it personally. He will then email you a short, confidential questionnaire about you and what has brought you here.

You should usually hear from him within 24 hours. While you wait, your Jane account will show no appointments. That is normal, and there is nothing more you need to do.
